About the Clinic

At the Campus Care Clinic located inside Topeka High School, we provide safe, convenient, high-quality patient care both in-person and via telehealth. We are excited to meet you!

The Campus Care Clinic is owned by The University of Kansas Health System and is also grateful for the support of Shawnee County community volunteers.

Our Goal

Campus Care Clinic staff work to promote the health of all students and staff members of the Topeka USD 501 School District through providing high-quality primary care. The clinic strives to empower staff members and students to achieve professional and academic success through addressing acute and chronic health concerns, preventing disease, and providing education.

Appointments are available for in-person or telehealth (virtual) visits with Dr. Ashley Dinkel, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner. Visits are available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., either walk-in or by appointment. If desired, a telehealth visit can be conducted during these times and allows you to have a meaningful interaction from the comfort of your home. The clinic’s Medical Assistant is available to schedule and answer questions Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Please call 785-295-3256 to make an appointment for any of our services. Walk-in patients from schools other than Topeka High School should call the clinic prior to arrival at the school.

 How do I register?

Please complete the registration forms found below, either for an adult or pediatric (<18 years) patient. These forms can be completed, printed, and returned to the clinic, or can be completed on the computer and emailed to [email protected]. If returning completed forms through email, we recommend encrypting the email to secure protected health information.

 What happens after I register?

Once registered, students and staff members may be seen at any time during their years attending/working in a school within the Topeka USD 501 School District.
