VENDOR ANNOUNCEMENT
IMPORTANT NOTICE - CHANGE TO ELECTRONIC BIDDING SYSTEM
Topeka Public Schools Purchasing Services is proud to announce that we will now be using Public Purchase, a web based eProcurement service. In order to receive bid notifications from Topeka Public Schools you must register with Public Purchase. This process will only take a few minutes and instructions are detailed below.
Why the switch?
Using this service will make the bidding process easier for Topeka Public Schools and our suppliers. The Public Purchase eProcurement System was designed exclusively for use by Government Agencies and their Vendors. You will no longer need to deliver hard copies of bids to our office; you will simply submit them electronically. (However, if bid bonds are required, they will still need to be delivered to our office.)
What benefits to You?
This eProcurement system will create a single location in which to view open Invitations for Bids, Requests for Proposals, and Requests for Quotations, as well as award information for previous bids issued through the Public Purchase website. In addition, Public Purchase gives you access to bid opportunities with other government entities. All of this is provided at no charge to you.
Benefits to Topeka Public Schools
This eProcurement system is compliant with all Federal and State regulations, which determine the required procedures for Government Agency purchasing practices. This service will also create an up-to-date vendor database, which will be hosted on Public Purchase's servers and will allow suppliers to easily update and change their information as needed.
