Students from the TCALC Teaching as a Profession Pathway, led by their instructors Diane Kimsey and Robin Dixon, hosted the Kansas Educators Rising Conference at Washburn University. Over 200 educators and future educators attended the event, which featured presenters and competitions where students showcased their skills.
TPS Superintendent, Dr. Tiffany Anderson, served as the keynote speaker over lunch and TPS Board of Education President, Sue Bolley, served as a judge in some of the student competitions. Governor Laura Kelly even stopped by to encourage future educators in their journey. Learn more in this article from KSNT News.
