Elementary School Students had a Great First Day in Topeka Public Schools

Topeka Public Schools elementary school students had a great first day of the new school year on Wednesday, August 11.

Incoming middle and high school students in grades 6 and 9 also began the academic year. A mix of excitement and nervousness filled the halls as they transitioned to brand new schools.

Students and parents were thrilled to return to in-person learning, and were greeted at schools with balloons, parades, cheering, and fun.
