T-High Students Win Engineering Design Challenge

Topeka High School instructor Jen Womack took some of her students to the University of Kansas School of Engineering to participate in the Engineering Design Challenge.

 

Students Myia Elwood and Kaylin Phillips, who competed in the Civil Engineering discipline, won first place after designing a structure that could hold up to 295 lbs without cracking or breaking.
