Jardine Teacher Win Ms. Wheelchair Kansas 2023

Ms. Daija Coleman has been a teacher in many different aspects of her life. She has been educating others about disability, perseverance, and advocacy from the day that she was born! Today, Ms. Coleman is a real life 1st grade teacher at Jardine Elementary in Topeka. She is originally from Atchison, is a graduate of Washburn University, has been a LinC Bonner Scholar, a member of Zeta Tau Alpha and Washburn Next Generation Educators, and is a graduate of the Kansas Youth Leadership Forum. Ms. Coleman believes that nothing is impossible and wants others to know that anyone has the power and skills to change the world through advocacy! Congratulations Ms. Coleman!
