Celebrating Our 2023 Teacher of the Year Finalist

On September 24, district leaders gathered in Wichita for the Kansas State Department of Education's 2023 Kansas Teacher of the Year awards ceremony.

Ms. Pamela Muñoz, a kindergarten teacher at McCarter Elementary, was honored as a Kansas Teacher of the Year finalist.

Ms. Lisa Martinez, an Assistant Principal at Scott Dual Language Magnet and TPS parent, was there to show her support as one of the 2022 finalists.
