The Early College Program, created in partnership between Topeka Public Schools and Washburn University, was designed for College Prep Academy students to apply for college admissions at the end of their sophomore year of high school and gain acceptance.
In 2021, as a sophomore at Highland Park High School, T'Ahjanae Ray was the first student to be accepted to the Early College Program. Throughout her junior and senior years, she attended Washburn full-time and will graduate this weekend with both a high school diploma and an associate's degree in liberal arts.
We are so proud of this outstanding scholar and look forward to watching her walk across the stage this weekend!
