Parents as Teachers Program Recognized Nationally

On October 23, Topeka Public Schools announced that the Parents as Teachers (PAT) Program earned another national endorsement as a Blue Ribbon Affiliate!

This award affirms that the district is home to one of the top-performing home-visiting affiliates in the PAT National Center's international network.

Programs that earn the Quality Endorsement are recognized by the national Parents as Teachers office as exemplary Blue Ribbon Affiliates, delivering high-quality services to children and families.

This week, TPS Parents as Teachers Coordinator, Nichole Fairley, presented at the National PAT Conference, sharing with other districts how she helped to build a strong advisory committee to support the program.
