The
students will receive exposure to a wide variety of building and construction
careers specific to Topeka and across the U.S. The students will be
taught the proper and SAFE operation of the woodworking machines, hand and
power tools that are found in our construction lab. The results of
working through this curriculum should allow for the design and construction of
several personal projects and directed paths to rewarding careers
choices.
