National Social Work Month
During National Social Work Month, Topeka Public Schools proudly recognizes the 42 dedicated school social workers who serve students and families across our district.
Our school social workers play a vital role in supporting the whole child. They work closely with students, families, teachers, and administrators to help remove barriers to learning, provide social-emotional support, connect families with community resources, and advocate for student well-being. Their work ensures that students have the tools and support they need to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.
Every day, our social workers demonstrate compassion, professionalism, and an unwavering commitment to student success. We are grateful for the meaningful impact they make in our schools and throughout our community.
Thank you to all of our TPS school social workers for your continued dedication to our students and families.
