Celebrating American Education Week!

This year, for American Education Week, Topeka Public Schools is honoring the contributions of our educators and staff from November 18-22, 2024! Each day will highlight a different group of professionals who make a difference in our schools:

Monday, Nov. 18 – Kick-off Day: Nominate an educator for a special surprise to kick off the week!
Tuesday, Nov. 19 – Family Day: A celebration of our TPS teachers who support and represent families across the county.
Wednesday, Nov. 20 – Education Support Professionals Day: Honoring our dedicated paraprofessionals who support students daily.
Thursday, Nov. 21 – Principal for a Day: Legislators and community partners are invited to get an inside look at our schools.
Friday, Nov. 22 – Substitute Educators Day: Recognizing the invaluable role of our substitutes who step in to keep learning going.
