GED® Testing Center

The GED® Tests are developed by the General Educational Development Testing Service (GEDTS) of the American Council on Education in partnership with Pearson VUE. The tests measure the major academic skills and knowledge associated with a high school program. The GED® consists of 4 subject areas and are administered throughout the year at a participating testing center.

Upon successful completion of the GED® Exam you will receive a Kansas State High School Diploma issued by the Kansas Board of Regents.

  • Through December 31, 2014, you can take up to two retakes of each test for $10 per each retake.
  • The cost of the GED Ready™ practice test is $6 per test for each of the four subject areas.
  • The GED Ready™ practice test is not required before taking the GED®Test.
