We work specifically with a caseload of students that have social work services on their IEP.  We work with any students in crisis situations to provide mental health assistance along with supporting teachers and students in the classroom.

    Site Coordinator, KU GEAR UP

KU GEAR UP is a cohort-based grant which will follow and work with the entire classes of 2020 and 2021 (current 10th and 11th graders) until they graduate. We provide programming and support needed to ensure our students are ready to graduate on time and move on to college including college knowledge, college search, financial aid, parent events, and tutoring in and after school. If freshmen have any questions about college, the process of getting to college, or whether they are able to go to college, please feel free to refer them to me or have me come to your room and talk with them!
