February is National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month
February is National Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, a time to recognize and celebrate the impact of hands-on, career-focused learning across Topeka Public Schools. Our CTE programs empower students with real-world skills, industry certifications, and meaningful experiences that prepare them for success in college, careers, and life beyond graduation.
Through opportunities at the Topeka Center for Advanced Learning & Careers (TCALC) and across our secondary schools, students explore high-demand career pathways including healthcare, manufacturing, construction, business, education, information technology, and more. These programs provide access to cutting-edge equipment, industry partnerships, internships, and job-shadowing experiences that connect classroom learning to the workforce.
Topeka Public Schools is proud to offer CTE pathways that equip students with the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. This month, we celebrate our students, educators, and community partners who make these opportunities possible and help build strong futures for our learners.
