  • THANK YOU MR. STUKESBARY!

    Avondale is pleased to announce the Retirement of Mr. Duane Stukesbary - Virtual School Coordinator.

    Mr. Stukesbary began his teaching career in the 1980's as a high school choral director in Nebraska.  During the latter part of his career, he decided to work in Topeka Public Schools and helped to launch the District's Virtual School program and oversee the Technology program at Avondale.

    His retirement celebration was held on May 9th at Topeka West High School where he was surrounded by his colleagues, friends and family.

    He will be greatly missed!
