During the acceptance speech of Dr. Kevin Singer for selection as superintendent, Dr. Singer referred to his own success and returning to Topeka Public Schools by quoting a poster hanging in the hallway at Highland Park High School, stating "you can get there from here". This phrase became popular throughout the district in recognizing the success of our graduates. Below are some of their stories.
