The Topeka Public School District recruits and retains a diverse workforce of quality employees to support our instructional and educational programs and to benefit the district's student population. We employ approximately 2,300 individuals who include over 1,300 certified and 1,000 classified employees, as well as substitutes who work on a temporary basis to step in when our regular employees are away from their job sites and responsibilities.
