Important Dates This School Year
The first day of school for grades K-6, 9 is Tuesday, August 16, 2011.
The first day of school for grades 7, 8, 10-12 is Wednesday, August 17, 2011.
The last day of school (preK-12) is May 18, 2012, and is a half-day.
Staff are on duty beginning August 10, 2011.
Winter recess is the weeks of December 22 through January 3. Students will not be in attendance from the end of the school day Wednesday, December 21 through the evening of Tuesday, January 3. Class resumes Wednesday, January 4.
School Supplies
Lists of required school supplies can be found online at your child's school page. Lists may also be obtained in person at your child's school, and at many area retailers.
School Hours
- HPHS, THS, TWHS: 7:55 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Hope Street: 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
- Capital City: 7:30 a.m. - 2:25 p.m.
- Middle School Hours: 7:50 a.m. - 2:45 p.m.
- Elementary Hours: 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
